Mr. Narayan is a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences from Northwestern University, Illinois and a Postgraduate in Business Management & Marketing from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Mr. Narayan was the Non-Executive Director / Group Chief Executive Officer of Lyca Group, UK / Lycamobile UK Ltd, wherein he, inter alia, managed a diverse global business across 25 countries including in Europe, US, Australia, Africa, and Asia with mobile operations in 23 countries with a team of 650+.

Mr. Narayan has more than three decades of leadership and technology delivery experience across Global operations, Business Management, Operations, Strategy and Business Development etc. Mr. Narayan has been associated, in various capacities, with leading corporates like Vodafone Idea Limited, Nokia, Wipro BPO, Tata Steel Limited etc.

Mr. Patnaik is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, a Law Graduate and a PGDM from AIMA. Mr. Patnaik is having experience of more than 35 years in leadership roles in Financial, Commercial and General Management domains.

Mr. Patnaik has previous experience with Aditya Birla Group where Mr. Patnaik held various senior leadership positions ranging from Sr. President and CFO of Chemicals, Fertilizer &Insulation Sector, M.D. and CEO of ABML – a listed Company in Australia to Chief Procurement Officer of Hindalco. Before joining Aditya Birla Group, Mr. Patnaik had worked in senior positions of large corporates like Jindal Stainless, Global Steel Works in Philippines and SAIL.

Mr. Gupta completed his Graduation in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and ranked 4th in All India Chartered Accountancy examination in the same year. He joined Hindustan Unilever Ltd. around 35 years ago and served there for 12 years. Thereafter, he worked with reputed organisations like Novartis, DHL Express, Microsoft Corporation India, and his recent engagements were with Arvind Fashions Ltd. and Wockhardt Ltd., where in both the companies he has served as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Gupta brings with him over three and half decades of operational and strategic business experience with high-end entrepreneurial and thought leadership across FMCG, Logistics, Agro-food, Tech-software, Healthcare, Textile industries, etc.

Mr. Patra, IAS (Retd.) holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from Delhi University. Mr. Patra joined the Indian Administrative Service in the year 1979 and was assigned to the West Bengal Cadre and thereafter had a distinguished period spanning over 24 years in Government wherein Mr. Patra held several key portfolios including the post of Under Secretary with the Home Department, District Magistrate of Darjeeling and South 24 Parganas, Director of Industries, Managing Director of the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation and Secretary, Information Technology.

In July, 2003 he took voluntary retirement to join MCPI, as Joint Managing Director. In 2009, he took charge as Managing Director of India Power Corporation Limited (IPCL). Mr. Patra continues to be a member of the IPCL Board.

In July, 2010, Mr. Patra returned to MCPI as its Executive Chairman and since November, 2016, he has been functioning as its only Whole-time Director, managing day to day affairs of MCPI.

Mr. Mukhopadhyay holds a B.E. (Chem) from Jadavpur University and a post-graduate diploma in Computer Applications from NEETI Delhi.

Mr. Mukhopadhyay has over 42 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, having worked as Head of Technical with TCG Refineries Ltd. and with Indian Oil Corporation. Mr. Mukhopadhyay has been with the Company since 2003.

Mr. Bhatnagar has over 37 years of experience in a fortune 500 Energy Corporation out of which the last 14 years have been in key leadership roles. Mr. Bhatnagar has rich experience in Managing P&L business of varying size and structure in Oil Refining, Petrochemicals and Polymers for achieving corporate growth objectives through providing strategic direction, diverse perspective, and positive leadership.

Mr. Bhatnagar has Leadership Expertise in Management of modern Refinery & Petrochemical complexes with deep insight for execution and implementation of Refinery & Petrochemical Projects. This includes feasibility studies, Project Appraisals, technology selection and contracts, project implementation strategies monitoring and control.

Mr. Dutta Gupta is a certified PMP professional having Mechanical Engineering background along with Masters in Computer Applications from BIT, Mesra and Masters in International Business from IIFT, Delhi.

Mr. Dutta Gupta is a senior leader with vast experience in leading Digital Transformation Programs in large manufacturing groups. Mr. Dutta Gupta has key focus on Enterprise Performance Management, Business System Integration, Analytics and New IOT based technologies.

Mr. Banerjee is a Chartered Account from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with more than 30 years of experience in operations turnaround, investments, fund management, large scale industrial development, corporate finance, business and financial restructuring.

Mr. Banerjee led various senior level positions of more than 18 years with "The Chatterjee Group" ("TCG") across hydrocarbons, real estate, financial services and other Indian investments including as "Chief Investment Officer" of TCG's $314MM Real Estate Fund and Chief Business Officer of Haldia Petrochemicals Limited.

Mr. Banerjee had also been an entrepreneur for a close to a decade during which time, he worked with owners and financiers to restructure, invest and turn around businesses that are non-performing, undervalued, under-performing or closed due to various reasons across hydrocarbons, real estate, hospitality, food, agriculture, infrastructure and entertainment sectors in the Indian Sub-Continent, GCC, Africa and Central Asia. Previously he also worked with Global Emerging Markets, Citibank & Price Waterhouse in India.

Ms. Mitra is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a Law Graduate. Ms. Mitra is an erudite & result-oriented professional with comprehensive knowledge, in-depth understanding and expansive exposure of over 24 years in Corporate Governance, Corporate Secretarial activities, Legal Affairs, Corporate Restructuring, Merger and Amalgamation, Corporate Vigilance & Disciplinary proceedings, SEBI & RBI Regulations.

Ms. Mitra also spreadheads the Corporate Secretarial & Legal function of all HPL’s subsidiaries. Ms. Mitra is also designated as Director & Company Secretary of Haldia Riverside Estates Limited, wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. Ms. Mitra also handles the Corp. Communication for HPL and its subsidiaries.
